CMA Outdoor Services LLC utilizes 811 DIG to mark all utility lines and underground cables prior to performing any work. However, CMA Outdoor Services is not responsible for mismarked or unmarked cable lines, phone lines, internet lines, or any other underground wires or cables that may impact service to your residential or commercial property. Additionally, CMA Outdoor Services is not liable for any costs associated with the repair of lines that were marked by 811.
Homeowners are responsible for coordinating and scheduling any necessary repair work through the appropriate utility companies. CMA Outdoor Services does not communicate or deal directly with utility companies, as we are not the named owners on the accounts. If CMA Outdoor Services deems it necessary to contribute to or cover the cost of a repair, we will reimburse or pay the homeowner directly.
If you have an underground dog fence or any other private utility lines, you must clearly mark their location and notify CMA Outdoor Services LLC prior to the start of any work. CMA Outdoor Services will not be held responsible for damage to underground dog fences or other private lines that are not properly marked by the homeowner.
While CMA Outdoor Services takes every precaution to avoid damaging any underground systems, we cannot guarantee that damage will never occur. Many factors beyond our control may impact the accuracy of markings or the depth and placement of underground systems.
If heavy water leaks are detected, homeowners are encouraged to contact their local utility company to inquire about possible relief or adjustments to water usage charges. CMA Outdoor Services LLC is not responsible for increased utility costs due to failed parts, malfunctions, weather-related events, or other unforeseen factors beyond our control. We will always do our best to help identify the issue, but we cannot guarantee cost recovery or issue resolution through the utility provider.
